1 1/2 pounds Ground Beef | 1 egg |
1 can condensed French Onion Soup | 1/2 c dry bread crumbs |
1/2 tsp salt | pinch of pepper |
1 Tbl all-purpose flour | 1/4 c water |
1/2 tsp French's mustard | 1/3 c ketchup |
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce | |
In a large mixing bowl, beat egg and stir in: 1/3 c soup, bread crumbs, salt and pepper. Add beef and mix gently. Shape into 6 oval patties. Brown in skillet for 3-4 mins on each side over medium heat. Removed meat and set aside. Discard drippings. In the skillet, combine flour and water until smooth. Add the ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, mustard and remaining soup. Bring to a boil and then cook for 2 mins. Return meat to skillet. cover and summer for 15 mins or until meat is no longer pink. |
